So with 28 days to go, I thought I'd do a quick article on our packing process. I started this months ago soon as I knew there was a trip as I'm always very prepared (not essential just the way I'm wired) so let's get started! Xx
So we have two kids so shopping takes a lot of priority as I like to have them all disneyed (is that a word? It is now 😂) for our trip. This stuff I pick up over the months as this works out cheaper and cost effective in the long run. Also check the time of year your going and plan around that. So for our packing we've got jackets, jeans light jumpers and tights. Last year we had some dressing up costumes for our son but never used them and gave them away as pixie dust. 😊 Primark is a brilliant source for disney clothing for both kids and adults!
Apart from essential clothing and the odd dressing up piece for our daughter (shell be 10 months old when we go) we also always pack the following:
1) international chargers for phones, tablets etc
2) raincoat as France weather Is basically same as ours so very unpredictable ALWAYS check the forecast few days before you go.
3) autograph books and ears for the kids, not essential you can buy there but personally we find it cheaper to bring with us although I always buy a pair of ears in the park 😂
4) something to do for our son so he's not bored while waiting in queues.
5) snacks. We made snack packs up and brought them with us saved a ton of money as you can get most things from pound shop and over there it's like €4 just for a bag of crisps so better to bring your own or make pack lunches from the breakfast.
6) Landyard and backpack: a Landyard is so handy for keeping your passes, tickets etc and makes it easier on the cast members when doing photo-pass etc. And back pack for carrying around those autograph books and pens. If carrying cash put it in an inside pocket,as there are pick pockets ( not happened to us but be cautious)
And that's it! If I've missed anything I'll set to add it. Have a magical time! °o° xx
