Our Disneyland Paris trip for Halloween season!
Check out my vlogging (I say that losely lol) and other pics on our Disney Trips FB xx
So last week we were in Disneyland Paris for our trip this year...Halloween!
We had 2 full days in the park as we were really going to get our annual passes which are amazing! We got so many perks with the Infinity passes I was really surprised!
Anyway here's a quick rundown of our trip...and guess what? We're going back in Feb! π xx
Trip report: 15-18th Oct 2018
Day 1: travelled to London the day before, and caught the Eurostar first thing. Had a small delay but other than that went ok. We have decided to fly next time as I can't believe how packed the TGV gets! We then checked then left our luggage at B&B as our we were early for check in and went to Walt Disney Studios for our annual passes. This was incredibly quick and easy to do, so really happy to say we're now cardholders so much more trips planned! ☺
We then headed to Disneyland Park where we met Mickey and went on a few rides. We took it easy first day as the travelling had knackered us.
DAY 2: We caught the shuttle to Disneyland Park, spent the whole day in there, we saw characters, took our baby on her first ride small world she loves it! And caught the parade. We were then told we could make reservations with our Infinity passes for the next day for Illuminations and the parade so we did. We missed our reservation for Jack Skellington as we ended up in the Lucky Nugget for Lunch. Best meal I've had in Disneyland Paris so far! And the little show was pretty cute.
DAY 3: we ended up in Walt Disney Studios and tried out the Lindberty app. This was really easy and we got 3 places, Spiderman was amazing and Parisian Minnie π after using the meets there, and looking round the shops and rides we headed back to the main park. We just missed the cavalcade! So gona watch it on YouTube later π we then had a Casey's (something I think we'll do every time it's so nice!) We then met Stitch which took an hour however it was totally worth it was an amazing meet, and after a few rides we sat ready for the Illuminations in the Infinity area. I unfortunately had to come out and take our son to be checked as he had clothes limes himself on the rope but he was great other than a bump and I now know where the first aid place is. We just made it back but couldn't get back to where we were we still got a good view as people let us to the front. The only complaint I have with the Illuminations is everyone was sat down til it started then everyone stood and all I could hear was people complaining they couldn't see. Why not just stay sat then? They did when we watched the villains show and it was great. I also went 3 different popcorn stands to get the poison apple cup I've been after for ages. Unfortunately we had no time the next day as we were travelling home.
The next time we are flying and getting a private transfer. Just got decide the next Trip! Gona take full advantage of my Infinity pass! ππ and the decorations are beautiful! Xxx

Packing for Disneyland Paris
So with 28 days to go, I thought I'd do a quick article on our packing process. I started this months ago soon as I knew there was a trip as I'm always very prepared (not essential just the way I'm wired) so let's get started! Xx
So we have two kids so shopping takes a lot of priority as I like to have them all disneyed (is that a word? It is now π) for our trip. This stuff I pick up over the months as this works out cheaper and cost effective in the long run. Also check the time of year your going and plan around that. So for our packing we've got jackets, jeans light jumpers and tights. Last year we had some dressing up costumes for our son but never used them and gave them away as pixie dust. π Primark is a brilliant source for disney clothing for both kids and adults!
Apart from essential clothing and the odd dressing up piece for our daughter (shell be 10 months old when we go) we also always pack the following:
1) international chargers for phones, tablets etc
2) raincoat as France weather Is basically same as ours so very unpredictable ALWAYS check the forecast few days before you go.
3) autograph books and ears for the kids, not essential you can buy there but personally we find it cheaper to bring with us although I always buy a pair of ears in the park π
4) something to do for our son so he's not bored while waiting in queues.
5) snacks. We made snack packs up and brought them with us saved a ton of money as you can get most things from pound shop and over there it's like €4 just for a bag of crisps so better to bring your own or make pack lunches from the breakfast.
6) Landyard and backpack: a Landyard is so handy for keeping your passes, tickets etc and makes it easier on the cast members when doing photo-pass etc. And back pack for carrying around those autograph books and pens. If carrying cash put it in an inside pocket,as there are pick pockets ( not happened to us but be cautious)
And that's it! If I've missed anything I'll set to add it. Have a magical time! °o° xx

Christmas at Disneyland Paris!
A press release has been released giving some information detailing the mist wonderful time of year! Xx
π«✨Christmas Season events! @ DLP ✨π«
10th November to 6th January
This year, there will be lots of new surprises during the Disneyland Paris Christmas season, and Mickey Mouse will be right at the heart of the celebrations. That’s because we’ll be celebrating a very special anniversary, as it will mark 90 years of fun with Mickey Mouse! And he’s going to be shaking up the traditions to make sure you have a totally unexpected Christmas packed with surprises. And that’s not all! Christmas is coming early to Disneyland Paris this year, with the festive fun beginning as soon as 10 November 2018 and going on every day until 6 January 2019. So get ready to party with Mickey Mouse!
π«✨Christmas at Disneyland Park
The moment you set foot in Disneyland Park it starts to feel a lot like Christmas, with the giant Christmas tree and snow falling every day... as if by magic...
π«✨Disney’s Christmas Parade
This Christmas season you’ll be able to enjoy all the excitement of THE Disney Christmas Parade not just once but TWICE daily. It’s making a big comeback, spreading the magic of winter across Disneyland Park – and it’s even making snow fall on Main Street, U.S.A.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy will be leading the dance - in fact they’re already getting ready to celebrate Christmas in the best possible way, along with all their friends. Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story will be joining in the fun, too. Dancing gingerbread men, candy canes and all sorts of other Christmas treats will also be twirling around this magical winter wonderland. And we’ve heard that Tinkerbell and even Santa himself are going to be there!
π«✨Magic Christmas Encounters
You’ll get the chance to meet Marie from the Aristocats, Scrooge McDuck, Peter Pan and Miss Bunny, to name but a few! And it goes without saying that where there’s Christmas, there’s Santa! As you might expect, he’s decided to take up residence in Fantasyland again. To meet him, just head for “Meet Mickey Mouse”, every day up to and including the 25 December. Just like Mickey, Santa will have his own lodge where he’ll give you the warmest welcome. It’s a magical meeting you’ll treasure forever.
π«✨Light up the tree with “Mickey’s Magical Christmas Lights
There’s nothing quite like the moment the Christmas tree lights are switched on at Disneyland Park. And it’s not just any old tree – this one is 24 metres tall and will be switched on by magic at an event attended by Mickey, Minnie and Santa himself! With a festive countdown, enchanting Christmas lights, snow and Disney magic, everything is set to ensure you are immersed in the wonder of Christmas. What’s more, it’s also a chance for us to celebrate Mickey’s anniversary, with new decorations and a new musical interlude especially for him.
π«✨ A Merry Stitchmas*
Stitch is going to be taking over the Royal Castle Stage - so Christmas is sure to be a blast! He’s going to do all he can to make sure you have lots of fun with Mickey and Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy, with some of our greatest Christmas classics for a backdrop. *This show will be available from 16 November, 2018.
Don’t miss our latest attraction:
π«✨Mickey and his PhilharMagic Orchestraπ«✨
A completely new attraction will be available in Europe for the first time ever, from 1 October, 2018. It’s called “Mickey and his PhilharMagic Orchestra”. Get ready to try a new 4D experience at Discoveryland Theater. Once you’re sitting comfortably, you’ll be able to see Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck on the big screen. They’ll take you right to the heart of some of the great Disney classics, such as Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and The Lion King - complete with some new twists caused by that mischievous Donald Duck! It’s a unique opportunity to enjoy the sound of some of Disney’s greatest melodies and celebrate 90 years of Mickey Mouse fun in the best possible way. * “Mickey and his PhilharMagic Orchestra” will be open from 1 October, 2018 and will remain open once the Christmas season ends.
π«✨Christmas Songtime!
Do you like Christmas songs? Then come to the Videopolis Theatre in Discoveryland and check out this new show: “Christmas Songtime!”. Every day, guests will get a chance to go on stage and take part in the action, alongside Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Disney’s professional singers. What a great way to celebrate the “Disney Performing Arts” programme! You can find further details about the “Disney Performing Arts” programme here
The Enchanted Advent Calendar: 1 - 24 December
Every morning, you’ll be able to awaken the magic of Christmas at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle with a larger than life advent calendar! Discover a new surprise every day, with Mickey, Minnie or Goofy.
π«✨Christmas at Walt Disney Studios Park
For the second year running, Walt Disney Studios Park is celebrating Christmas too, with even more fun for all the family!
New York-style Jazz and Mickey Mouse on the drums, with “Mickey’s Big Band Christmas”
Following its first sensational season, “Mickey’s Big Band Christmas” will be setting up at Animagique Theater at Walt Disney Studios Park. This live show is the perfect combination of traditional musical and typical Disney. A jazz band, alongside energetic tap-dance numbers… Every day this show pays lively homage to winter’s loveliest melodies, inviting you to get into the Christmas spirit with the Big Band, singers, dancers and of course Disney Characters. An absolute must-see: Mickey’s drum solo! Yes, you read it right! As for Minnie, she’s dreaming of being a jazz diva…
π«✨New show: A surprise for Mickey!
It’s time to celebrate 90 years of fun with Mickey Mouse. Will Minnie be ready on time or will she have to ask her friends - or even the audience - to help her give Mickey an unforgettable surprise? This very special birthday surprise is going online too, because you’ll be invited to share a special message for Mickey Mouse on your social media beforehand, using the hashtag #SurpriseMickey. Your message might even appear during the show as an extra surprise for Mickey. What better way of making this a truly memorable anniversary celebration? This interactive show will take place several times a day, at Production Courtyard, opposite the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
π«✨Goofy’s Incredible Christmas
Bring your day at Disneyland Paris to an amazing close with Goofy’s Incredible Christmas. This immersive night-time show uses mapping technology and breathtaking special effects on the walls of a fan-favorite attraction – The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse, along with their friends Goofy, Donald Duck and Daisy, will be at your side throughout this fantastical journey. Carried along by the festive spirit, they’ll take you on a flight over spectacular landscapes, from the North Pole to the most amazing party you could ever imagine. Watch out for some unexpected surprises - it is Goofy we’re talking about, after all!
As well as this incredible programme, you can also meet all sorts of Disney characters at Walt Disney Studios Park, such as Goofy, in his Santa Claus outfit, Minnie Mouse or Buzz Lightyear!
